Manufacturing Discipline
Founded in 2004 in Shanghai's Songjiang District, TuoFu Industrial Seating started with a single production line and a clear mission: manufacture industrial chairs that genuinely hold up in demanding factory environments. Not chairs that look good in a catalog, but chairs that survive years of daily use in electronics assembly, automotive production, and chemical processing facilities.
Two decades later, we operate a 50,000+ sq.m. facility with six specialized production lines, over 500 employees, and an annual output exceeding 200,000 units. Our products are distributed across 50+ countries through a network of industrial distributors, OEM partners, and direct corporate buyers.
What hasn't changed is our approach: invest in proper equipment, hire skilled people, maintain rigorous quality control, and build genuine long-term relationships with customers. This is why many of our distributor partners have been working with us for 10+ years.
6 Specialized Production Lines
Our 50,000+ sq.m. facility houses six dedicated production departments, each equipped with purpose-built machinery and staffed by experienced technicians.
Steel Frame Fabrication
4 CNC laser cutting machines (±0.1mm precision), 6 robotic MIG welding stations, hydraulic bending and forming equipment. Daily capacity: 800 frames.
Surface Treatment
Fully automated powder coating line with 12-stage pre-treatment process. Salt spray resistance tested to 500+ hours. 20+ standard colors available.
Foam & Upholstery
In-house PU foam molding with density control (40–60 kg/m³). Upholstery workshop with 80 skilled technicians. PU leather, fabric, and anti-static material options.
Quality Control Lab
Equipped with load testing machines (up to 200kg dynamic), ESD resistance meters, salt spray chambers, and fatigue cycle testers. 100% final inspection before shipment.
Assembly Lines
6 parallel assembly lines with standardized work instructions. Poka-yoke error-proofing at critical steps. Takt time optimized for both small and large batch orders.
Packaging & Logistics
Export-grade packaging with moisture barrier, corner protection, and custom branding options. In-house logistics team for FCL and LCL container loading.

ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management
Our quality management system covers every stage from raw material procurement to final shipment. Key performance metrics are monitored monthly and reviewed quarterly.
Incoming Material Inspection
All steel, foam, fabric, and hardware undergo dimensional, mechanical, and chemical testing against approved specifications before entering production.
In-Process Quality Control
Dedicated QC inspectors stationed at each production stage. Critical dimensions checked every 50 units. Non-conforming parts are quarantined immediately.
Functional & Load Testing
Every product model undergoes static load testing (200kg), dynamic fatigue testing (200,000 cycles), height adjustment verification, and ESD resistance measurement.
Pre-Shipment Final Inspection
100% visual inspection before packing. Random sampling for dimensional checks. Full inspection reports available for all export orders.

Company Founded
Shanghai TuoFu Industrial Seating Co., Ltd. established in Songjiang District, Shanghai. Initial production capacity: 5,000 units/year, focusing on basic industrial work chairs for local factories.
First Export Order
Secured first international export contract with a German industrial distributor. Began building export compliance documentation and international shipping experience.
ISO 9001 Certification
Achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification, formalizing quality management systems across all production lines. Annual capacity expanded to 50,000 units.
ESD Product Line Launch
Launched dedicated ESD anti-static chair product line meeting IEC 61340-5-1 standard. Entered electronics manufacturing and semiconductor market segments.
New Factory Expansion
